Viettel's AFC Champions League Two Schedule: A Major Challenge

The official schedule for Thể Công - Viettel in the AFC Champions League Two 2026/27 has been set, with six tough group games against FC Seoul, Melbourne Victory, and a team that will emerge from the play-offs.

Following the draw for the AFC Champions League Two 2026/27 group stage held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Thể Công - Viettel have learned their opponents and specific match schedule in Group E of the East region.

According to the draw results from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the Vietnamese representative is grouped with FC Seoul (South Korea), Melbourne Victory (Australia) and the winner of the play-off between Persib Bandung (Indonesia) and Manila Digger (Philippines).

According to the schedule, Thể Công - Viettel will kick off their continental campaign by hosting Melbourne Victory at Hàng Đẫy Stadium at 19:15 on September 16. This is considered a crucial match for the Vietnamese side, as a favorable result at home would provide significant momentum ahead of the tough run of games to follow.

For the second matchday on October 14, Thể Công - Viettel will travel to face the winner of the play-off between Persib Bandung and Manila Digger. The opponent's identity, venue, and kick-off time will be updated after the play-off round is completed.

The most notable challenge at Hàng Đẫy comes on October 28, when Thể Công - Viettel host FC Seoul. Just a week later, the two teams will meet again at Seoul World Cup Stadium on November 4.
